Massachusetts Women’s Political Caucus Endorses
Ann-Margaret Ferrante for State Representative for the 5th Essex District
Boston– The Massachusetts Women’s Political Caucus announced today that candidate Ann-Margaret Ferrante, of Gloucester, has received the endorsement of the organization’s Political Action Committee for State Representative for the 5th Essex District.
"The Massachusetts Women's Political Caucus enthusiastically endorses Ann-Margaret Ferrante for State Representative for the 5th Essex District representing Gloucester, Rockport and Essex. We believe that Ann-Margaret has a strong connection and commitment to the district, an understanding of the many issues facing the district, and a profound respect for all of its different constituencies,” said Executive Director Sheila Capone-Wulsin. “We feel her unique ability to transcend party and ideological differences will be a valuable tool in effectively bringing people together around solving the critical issues facing the district."
Ferrante resides in Gloucester where she works as a lawyer at Kiely & Ferrante. Ferrante was born and raised in Gloucester where she attended Gloucester elementary schools and graduated as President of the Gloucester High School Class of 1990. She attended Tufts University, and has a B.A. in Economics and International Relations. Ms. Ferrante is proud to serve on several community boards including Cape Ann Commercial Fishermen’s Loan Fund, Holy Family Parish Capital Improvements Committee and Gloucester Housing Authority.
