Massachusetts Women’s Political Caucus
Endorses 14th Norfolk District Representative Alice Peisch
BOSTON- The Political Action Committee of the Massachusetts Women’s Political Caucus announced today that it is endorsing candidate Alice Peisch, of Wellesley, for State Representative for the 14th Middlesex District. Peisch has earned the Caucus’ endorsement in each election since winning her seat in 2004.
“Alice has a great record on supporting legislation that is important to women,” says Executive Director Sheila Capone-Wulsin. Her support of buffer zone legislation to protect a woman’s right to choose was critical, as is her advocacy on behalf of legislation allocating greater funds to public schools. “Alice works hard to improve the quality of life for everyone in her district. The MWPC is happy to support such an exceptional woman once again.”
“I am honored to have earned the endorsement of the MWPC for the fourth time,” said Peisch. “The caucus has a rich legacy of supporting women candidates and fighting to promote women’s issues. The endorsement of the caucus has been invaluable to me in the past, and I am grateful to have their continued support in this next election.”
Rep. Peisch serves as Co-Chair of the Suburban Legislative Coalition, advocating for Wellesley, Newton and Natick on important policies such as education funding and improving public transportation.
