BOSTON- The Political Action Committee of the Massachusetts Women’s Political Caucus announced today that it is endorsing Senator Dianne Wilkerson, of Wellesley, for State Senate for the 2nd Suffolk district. Wilkerson has earned this endorsement since her election in 1992.
“Dianne has continued to be a champion for women’s issues through her support of important legislation. She also serves as a positive role-model and is truly a source of inspiration for young women,” says Executive Director Sheila Capone-Wulsin. Senator Wilkerson’s recent support of MassHealth benefits was vital, as is her advocacy for a bill that will improve policy coordination across all education sectors. “She is a dedicated public figure and works hard to improve the quality of life for everyone in her district. The MWPC is happy to be supporting such an exceptional woman once again.”

Senator Wilkerson continues to serve as a board member for Action for Boston Community Development where she advocates for Boston on policies such as childcare and early education, youth development and health services.
