Boston– The Political Action Committee of the Massachusetts Women’s Political Caucus announced today that it is endorsing candidate Sue Chalifoux Zephir, of Leominster, for State Representative for the 4th Worcester District.
“Sue Chalifoux Zephir has the breadth and depth of experience improving her community that a State Representative needs,” said Executive Director Sheila Capone-Wulsin. “Her experiences as a successful businesswoman, public servant, and a volunteer in her community will give her the tools to be an ideal legislator and advocate for Leominster We applaud her candidacy, and we look forward to working with her on our shared agenda for Massachusetts women and families. For more than 35 years, the MWPC has been advocating for equal pay, social justice, and reproductive rights. We are heartened to have an ally in Sue Chalifoux Zephir.”

Sue Chalifoux Zephir was born and raised in Leominster and holds a MBA from Simmons College. She has a record of delivering results for the Leominster community in over 20 years of advocacy and public servide. Sue's record of activism includes service on the Leominster City Council, chairing the Leominster Public Library feasibility study committee, helping found the Leominster Land Trust and the Notown Citizens' Action Committee, and volunteering with Our Father's House homeless shelter and Leominster Youth Soccer.
