Representative Deborah Blumer

Internship Program

The Representative Deborah Blumer Internship Program was established in 2007 by the Massachusetts Women’s Political Caucus in memory of Representative Deborah Blumer (D-Framingham).  Representative Blumer was a tireless advocate for young people, and a vibrant example of women’s leadership in Massachusetts politics. This program will provide a stipend to a rising college junior or senior for a summer internship with the Massachusetts Women’s Political Caucus in order to further Representative Blumer’s legacy of supporting students and encouraging their participating in the political process. The Representative Deborah Blumer Internship Program has been made possible by a generous donation from Harvard Pilgrim Health Care.

Students interested in applying for the program should fill out the MWPC internship application here. They should also email a copy of their resume and a short essay (not more than 500 words) about a women leader that inspires them to Trista Naylor at trista@mwpc.org.
