Representative Deborah Blumer Internship Program

The Massachusetts Women's Political Caucus is a multipartisan organization that promotes the participation and involvement of women of all ages in the political process. The organization was founded in 1971 for the purpose of increasing the number of women elected and appointed to public office and public policy positions.

An internship with the MWPC provides an excellent opportunity to see the women's political movement in action, while at the same time allowing for the exploration of the different aspects of public service and a non-profit organization. Internships are available to college students or recent graduates. We are looking for energetic candidates to assist in all aspects of the organization.

We make every effort to tailor internships to best suit the student's strengths and needs. Internships are unpaid, but students may receive academic credit. Interns must set and stick to a regular work schedule with a minimum 10 hours per week. Applicants must have excellent interpersonal skills, and must be flexible and able to work efficiently in a small, fast-paced work environment.

Internships are available every semester throughout the year and during the summer months. Applications are accepted on a revolving basis. If you are interested in applying for our Internship Program please fill out our application.
